Public transportation to the medical center is readily available. For information on bus routes to the Alta Bates, Herrick, or Summit Campus, contact AC Transit at (510) 839-2882.

We provide the following shuttle services:

• MacArthur BART station to the Summit Campus between the hours of 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
  
• Ashby BART station to the Alta Bates Campus between the hours of 4:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
  
• Milvia parking lot to the Herrick campus, and then to the Alta Bates campus between the hours of 4:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
  
• On-call shuttle service for the Summit campus, Alta Bates campus, MacArthur BART station, and Rockridge BART station is available between the hours of 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
  
• On-call shuttle service for the Herrick campus, Milvia parking lot, and Ashby BART station is available between the hours of 9:00pm – 2:00am.
  
• There is no shuttle service on weekends or holidays.
  
• This is a FREE service and donations are not accepted.
