Summer 2008 Calendar

Community Programs and Support Groups

Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is dedicated to promoting community wellness and education through the following programs. Classroom locations or times may change occasionally, so please call ahead to confirm both before attending. Call for information on fees and registration as well. Listed are just a few of the classes that we offer.

Spotlight: online “carepages” Link patients and families

Alta Bates Summit patients and their families or friends from across the nation — or even around the world — will soon have a way to remain in touch, lend support, or post photos of newborns, thanks to a new online feature coming to the Medical Center’s website.

Aptly dubbed “CarePage,” this easy-to-use tool will allow patients or their loved ones to go to the Alta Bates Summit website and create their own unique Web page. It’s as simple as filling in a form online, with family-friendly instructions. Each CarePage is secure and password-protected, so the page’s creator can control who can visit. The feature is free and available in English and Spanish.

CarePages will launch on the Alta Bates Summit website this summer. Visit www.altabatessummit.org and look for the CarePage logo on our home page. It’s a great way to support patients and their loved ones.
